LEARNING REIKI BY DEGREES
Anyone can learn to channel this wonderful universal life force energy called Reiki.
I believe all that is needed is the desire and intention to help, the connection to source through the Reiki Masters in Spirit and to give thanks.
Reiki is universal, has it's own intelligence and is not connected to any religion or belief system but can enhance such beliefs. You do not have to believe in God to practice Reiki, just LOVE and COMPASSION.
It is a constant connection between you and the Universal Light whether it be God, your Higher Self or simply the pulse and rhythm of nature.
I believe that the ability to 'heal' is inherent in all of us and it lies dormant until it is awakened and it becomes right for us to use it.
During Reiki training the student is attuned by a Reiki Master to this wonderful energy which in turn can be used to facilitate healing in themselves or others.
There is no set format for Reiki training and it will vary from Master to Master, country to country and culture to culture but there will always be similarities. Some workshops are held for one day, others over two and some during shorter classes over a longer period of time. There is no right or wrong way and it certainly does not mean that one Master is better than another.
I choose to follow the format that was handed down to me by my Reiki Master and it works well for me and my students.
